Do you currently use a paper planner? I find that having some form of planner (paper or digital) is essential in staying organised and helping me feel in control of my life and business; planning makes me happy. How about you? Well, I thought it was about time that I made a list of my favourite planner supplies and recommendations. Whether you’re looking for a hard-bound planner, more of a bullet journal system or travellers notebook there will be something for you. This list will be updated regularly and I also plan to add reviews of some of the products and so will link to those as I create them.
This post contains affiliate links for your convenience, including some discounts and special offers just for you. For more information check out my full affiliate disclosure. I will always be recommending things that I genuinely like myself as well as items other chronic entrepreneurs have recommended. If you have a planner product you love that isn’t on this list, or if you are a shop owner of one you think we will really like, please comment or get in touch and I can look at adding it/them. These are all paper/physical products, I will share my recommendations for digital solutions another time.
So, let’s get started looking at some of my favourite and most recommended planner supplies!
These are gorgeous weekly or daily planners designed to help you live a purposeful life. Here’s what Corie says about them; ‘The Purposeful Planner® was designed for YOU! For the creative, the stay-at-home mom trying to fit it all in, the entrepreneur chasing their dreams, the empty-nester living their dreams, and anyone else trying to live their life on purpose. It is so important that we create margin in our lives so that we can live the life we’ve always dreamed. There are miracles in the margin!‘
These are beautiful planners aimed at helping you find happiness in your life. There are a few different options depending on your needs, including a 100 day planner, some undated ones, dated 12 month versions. You can check them out and see which fits your needs best. They are created by Mo Seetubtim and she says; ‘The Happiness Planner® is a planner and journal designed to help you create more happiness and fulfillment in life by embracing the power of positive thinking, mindfulness, gratitude, and self-development. This practices in the Happiness Planner will help you become your best self, adopt a positive outlook on life, practice gratitude, and reflect on your days, weeks, and months – mastering success and happiness, one day at a time.‘
I adore Danielle Laporte‘s work. She is a true light in the world and her planner is no different. It comes in two different layouts; weekly and daily. There are also some different cover designs. I encourage you to get her Desire Map book as it helps you make sure your goals are aligned with your core desired feelings. Her planner then helps you stay on track for that.
This is one my personal favourite planners. Though there isn’t anything specific to help guide you to happiness/purposefulness etc, it is a great planner for scheduling etc. There are three different versions, currently, where you can choose from a vertical layout, horizontal layout, or hourly horizontal layout. There’s also lot’s of options for customising your planner with different covers and other elements. I particularly like the new thicker paper that’s recently been changed in the planner. Design by Erin Condren, she says; ‘The one and only LifePlanner™ is the ultimate tool in stylish organization for your busy life! Set your goals for the year, make note of monthly events and organize your weekly schedule just how you want! Customize and personalize your LifePlanner™ for a truly unique planner that’s as unique as you!‘
This is a planner I have lusted after for some time. I just can’t seem to quit my ECLP though, lol! There are daily, monthly and weekly options, with lot’s of different covers to choose from, too. I love that there’s a mini version, too. The only thing I’m not 100% on is that the timing section is 6am-7pm….. and, being that I am NOT a morning person I work better with a 9am-10pm schedule. Not saying that I couldn’t work with it, though. It’s just held me back from purchasing so far. Here’s some information from the site on how this gorgeous planner came about; ‘The idea for Day Designer® was born in 2010. It grew from chaos: an overflowing email inbox, a hand-scribbled to-do list, a pile of meeting notes and a daunting schedule. Whether you’re a working professional, full-time mom, or a diligent student, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and pulled in a million directions. Created by Whitney English, Day Designer is a simple and easy system created to help you find balance, focus and productivity.’
This is another design I have had my eye on and one I am thinking of purchasing. The whole premise of the design is to keep things simple. There are daily and weekly options, and some beautiful cover options, too. Designed by Emily Ley, here’s what she says about the planner; ‘The Simplified Planner has changed and evolved in many ways since its creation. Birthed from many incredible and challenging experiences as a new mom, wife, entrepreneur, daughter and friend, the Simplified Planner brings together five key elements (calendar, to-do, notes, dinner and inspiration) to give women a clean start every day. Year after year, as I’ve poured my heart and my own days into these pages they’ve been refined to a simple, succinct and refreshing design.‘
Bullet Journals and Travellers Notebooks
I really like the design of this bullet journal. It has dot paper and graph paper within the journal, too. Here’s some information about it from Amazon; ‘The Bullet Journal Notebook is the next generation of personal organizational methods. It’s can be your to-do list, Notebook, Diary, Sketchbook, or more all of above; up to your creativeness and designs.’
This bullet journal speaks to my soul. For real, haha! It’s an 8×10 inch journal with dot grid paper, perfect for bullet journaling. It’s designed by Creative Notebooks, and they have lot’s of other fun covers to choose from if Unicorns aren’t your jam (and if they aren’t, why the hell not? Lol!). Here’s what they have to say about their bullet journals; ‘CREATIVE NOTEBOOKS is proud to offer an array of beautifully designed notebooks, journals, bullet journals/dot grid journals, diaries and planners. Our inspired team loves making unique and exquisitely designed books for you, your friends or loved ones to fill with your thoughts, plans, ideas and more.’
These notebook covers are the most delightful planners ever. The leather comes in an array of colours and textures; some super soft and suple, and others much stifer. They also come in a huge number of sizes, so there is something for everyone. I have a number of these gorgeous travellers notebook covers, and the notebooks to suit, too. The ‘Sugar’ range is my personal favourite. Please note, they usually restock on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Here’s some information on the company; ‘Foxy Fix started with a few scraps of leather, a homemade mallet, and a rickety table inside an RV park. As newlyweds, we called this RV park home. Space in our travel trailer was snug, and the winters were grueling, but feeling optimistic and hopeful, we determined to work hard and live carefree lives. Since that lucky day in the park, Foxy Fix has grown from a picnic-table project into an established artisan notebook, made-in-the-USA business. We are known for our customer service and our “on demand” designs. By working closely and in real time with our customers and friends, we develop products that meticulously and thoughtfully suit your notebook needs. Every one of our items is handcrafted from start to finish by our skilled team. We currently carry 9+ notebook sizes in different variations and have expanded our company to offer a variety of additional products like notebook inserts and stamps.’

Yep, I love Kaweco pens. These are budget friendly, good quality pens. I prefer the fine nibs, but have medium, too. I’m on a mission to collect all the colours haha!
These pens are my favourite for journalling. Definitely, ones you need in your stash 🙂
Then you’ll love these pens. Great for Bullet Journals and regular planners alike. Fantastic for colour-coordinating your planner and customising it to suit you.

I love these stickers. They fit so well in Erin Condren Life Planners and are a super fun way to get creative and add some personality to them. There are also great kits and stickers for travellers notebooks, too.
So, that’s my list of top planner supplies for now. I hope you have found some interesting items that might help you in your planning. This list doesn’t cover all the planners out there, obviously. These are just ones I particularly like. I will update this list as I come across new ones that click with me and am open to recommendations from others.
