Well, hello there and welcome to my blog. My name is Cat, otherwise known as The Chronic Entrepreneur, and I am so pleased that you’re here, checking this out. If you’ve found me then I am going to presume that you have a chronic illness or health condition and either already are, or want to be, an entrepreneur. I am presuming that because that’s what this place is all about! The challenge of balancing a chronic illness with running your own business.
If you’re like most of my readers, you are struggling to find this balance, and looking for guidance. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, or not, this is something we all find difficult. Many of us long for a better work/life balance once diagnosed and want more flexibility without a compromise on our earnings. So, entrepreneurship becomes an attractive possibility. You may be feeling a bit trapped right now in your current employment. Worried that everything seems to be about your illness, now, too. Becoming an entrepreneur can give you time and creative freedom, both of which we all want in our lives, right?
If you’re wondering what gives me authority to talk about this then you can check out my about me page, and also these posts that share my story:
More to come…
Over in my little corner of the web, I am writing about what living with a chronic illness is like. I am sharing tips and tricks, as well as encouraging you to find joy in the every day of our lives. Even though it can be very hard some days. I truly believe that we all have something special and magical inside of us and that we need to harness that and share that gift with the world. I believe my gift is to help and encourage you to do just that. To reveal your magic, and learn to thrive ♥
After being diagnosed we all have to come to terms with our new normal and forge our way in a different life than we planned. This blog is designed to help you and cheer you on, on your journey along that path. I tell it how it is, and I also always try to find the happiness and the good in any situation. It is just my nature. Perhaps I can inspire you to do the same sometimes. I also say the swears, but I try to be mindful and not over-use them 🙂
I am here to help you and guide you on your entrepreneurial journey to time and financial freedom. And I’m not just like every other person who blogs about being an entrepreneur, because living with cancer and chronic fatigue means I have to do things a little differently to ‘normal’ people. I know you feel that way, too. So, I’ll be sharing how I make it work.
Now, what next? That really depends on the kind of help and advice you’re after. Here are some of my most popular blog posts, perhaps one of these will help to guide you:
Another option is to sign up for my newsletter. This is a weekly email that goes out and gets you all the insider information. You can also come and join our Facebook group that’s full of chronic entrepreneurs, just like me and you.
